The Principal Officer is appointed, in terms of the medical aid act no.23 of 1995 Act as guardian and is independent from the Administrator of the fund with the main objective of ensuring that the fund is managed in the best interest of all its members.

The Napotel Medical Aid Fund is administered by Prosperity Health Namibia, an accredited administrator in terms of the Medical Aid Funds Act no. 23 of 1995. Its responsibilities are, among others, to collect contributions, to process member’s claims, to ensure that member’s data is kept up to date and to provide client service and health support to members.
